What Services are included in the initial set up?

NetBenefit will work with you to set up your server in our data centre facilities. A NetBenefit Technical Support Engineer will be available to provide advice on any part of your installation and provide you with full details of the networking of your machine.

Will I need to bring my own equipment?

The only equipment that you will require is your server and respective power cables. We recommend that you label the power cables with the server ID that NetBenefit provides.

We will provide you with a shelf for your server and all network connections. A monitor, keyboard and mouse are already available in the facility for your use. If you require the use of tools to open your server box please bring them with you as we do not to keep tools onsite to respect health and safety regulations.

We would be grateful if you could bring any documentation for your server with you when installing. This will be stored in a secure location in case we need to use it in an emergency.

What does our technical support cover?

Our Technical Support team will endeavour to help you with any problems that you may have in association with the networking of your server. NetBenefit is not responsible for the configuration of your machine, however if you require additional technical services, please speak with your Account Manager.

How do I Powercycle my machine in an emergency?

Your server is connected to an APC reboot master switch allowing you to carry out a remote reboot. You can access the Remote Reboot service through your Control Panel.

NetBenefit can supply specific power cables to connect to the APC reboot master switch in the event that your cables are not suitable.

How do I arrange a visit to my server?

We request 48 hours notice in advance of your visit for planned access to your server(s). Emergency or out of hours access can be arranged at our discretion, or is available as part of our Premium SLA.

Please contact your Account Manager to arrange physical access to our server facility or to arrange a Premium SLA for your
co-located server(s).

At all times NetBenefit ensures that one of our engineers is on-site while you are in the data centre and available to assist.

Colocation Hosting Specification

1. Minimum term is 12 months thereafter renewable for further 12 month period subject to 30 days notice to cancel without refund

2. Excess data transfer usage is charged in 1 GB blocks at £20 per GB

3. All services are subject to NetBenefit's Dedicated Hosting Agreement

Colocation Hosting Support

1. We provide support in relation to the following issues only:

a. 3 hours support with installation of your server
b. Access to the server on 48 hours notice
c. Access to server limited to 2 one hour scheduled visits per month

2. We do not support: a. Any server hardware/application/software maintenance

3. Type of support: Access to server only

4. Availability: 1000 to 1600 Monday to Friday (excludes national holidays)

5. All services are subject to NetBenefit's Dedicated Hosting Agreement
